On Porthcawl’s seafront, the Seabank Hotel is on the south Wales coast. Its en suite rooms are joined by a bar, restaurant and enjoy free parking and WiFi.

Porthcawl is ideally located for exploring south Wales, Bridgend area and the valleys with Swansea and Cardiff both just over 20 minutes’ drive. The spectacular scenery of Brecon Beacons National Park begins just 30 minutes north of the town ad Gower is 25 minutes beyond Swansea.

Stayed New Year’s Eve, lovely hotel friendly staff very clean . Needs updating and new windows .

Warm welcome , shown around hotel my lovely Receptionist, location was good and parking is added bonus .

Our room was on the second floor , lovely big room clean and spacious ,but the windows were atrocious, window sill was soaking with all the rain coming in . Need replacing as the wind was horrendous when we stayed which made it worse .

Comfortable and perfect location to visit relatives

Room is comfortable enough, but needs upgrading Plenty of hot water Location - sea front and easy access to shops & restaurants Breakfast excellent, will do special requests like, 2 eggs, 2 pieces of bacon & very yummy fried bread! Staff all very friendly and helpful

Just needs upgrading, some areas have been Just feel it is a bit expensive for the standard of accommodation No frequent visitor discount/perks

Great location. Great hotel. Staff were excellent. Great bed Great shower

Location was perfect. Plenty of parking spaces . Receptionist on arrival was amazing . Bar was open when we checked in.

Our window handle didnt close properly also the latch on the door was very loose, made closing the door a Few times to make sure door was locked. Apart deom that we Had an amazing stay

The location is great,my wife and I love it by the coast, they've started to update the hotel which is good, Can't wait to stay there again next year

Very enjoyable, even the weather couldn’t spoil it.

Downstairs was lovely, matching furniture throughout was nice to see. However, bedroom could do with a little TLC but was clean, which was the most important thing.

Real cosy hotel lobby and various rooms to relax in ..with sea views tv room with sports channels. Very thoughtful. Our double room was lovely new tiled bathroom and new walk in shower.lovely and clean .could have stayed for a week no problem..

Fab place looking out over the sea

It was really good - dinner was a bit cheap in terms of it seemed microwaved but none the less it was very busy and people around me were happy and jolly which helped

They got a bit funny about me asking for the vegan option for dinner as you’re supposed to preodrrder but I didn’t know this.

Very Happy Guests!

Our room was wow..... perfect so clean, bed so comfortable, the linen and towels was of high quality. The little extra indoor balcony on our room made it extra special for us. Breakfast was exceptional good value for money. All staff friendly and helpful.

Noisy

Lots of parking. Right on the sea front so the place gets all the weather - good or bad. Decent shower. Close to lots of pubs and places to eat.

I visited on a weekend and there was live music and bingo until very late (even on the Sunday) and my room must have been right over the stage. I couldn’t get to sleep until midnight Saturday and Sunday. The doors also have very strong springs so slam like an incoming artillery shell. And you can hear the people talking in the next room. The place is also a bit of a maze.

Location was fabulous, great value for money, room was spotless and well kept, view from room was spectacular.

Arrived at 6:30pm but couldnt order food as to late told by receptionist but on website it stated last orders were 7:15pm, but we ate out instead at the dockside which was only 5 minutes away so not really a big deal about not being able to eat on site.
